We successfully completed the Acronis Cyber Protect Backup Implementation and Desktop System Setup for UIT, delivering a secure and efficient IT environment.
The tasks completed include:
Acronis Cyber Protect Backup Setup:
- Configured Acronis Cyber Protect Backup for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Set up backup copies to ensure data security and redundancy across three locations:
- NAS (Network Attached Storage) for local on-premises storage.
- External HDDs for portable, offline backup solutions.
- Acronis Cloud for secure, offsite cloud storage.
- Tested and validated the backup process to ensure seamless restoration and recovery capabilities.
- Documented the backup setup for future reference and provided guidance on monitoring and management.
Desktop System Setup:
- Set up desktop systems with local user profiles, ensuring personalized and secure access for UIT users.
- Configured system security settings, aligning with UIT’s IT policies and best practices.
- Installed and organized essential software, creating desktop shortcuts for user convenience.
- Tested and validated all systems to ensure they were fully operational and user-ready.
This project provided UIT with a secure, well-structured IT environment, ensuring data protection and efficient system functionality across their organization.
